The Story:

The Actor, a former sweetheart of rom-coms, has seen roles disappear since she had a daughter and turned 40. A woman for whom beauty and youth were currency, she resents that her male counterparts are still getting roles as heroes and heart throbs. She begins the film sullen and bitter about being cast as a “chubby old woman”. 

As the Make-up Artist transforms the Actor into the legendary author, Agatha Christie, there is a shift in the Actor’s attitude, first acceptance, and then a celebration of who she has become.
